The objective of this activity is
- to organise a training platform for the industry in order to take advantage of training opportunities inside SEAFOODplus.
During the first 18 months period an adequate industry training programme will be set up, with topics for training being selected on the basis of relevance for targeted industries within the seafood sector. Information obtained in the ITD pillar 1 communication to industry associations will be valuable input for preparing the programme. The industry training programme will be operated on a local, regional or European basis, depending of the subject and the need of target groups.
Likewise, a survey of the research activities within the SEAFOODplus consortium will be used to identify discipline oriented topics and new methods suitable for being included in such network.
