Mr. Victor Hjort is the director of EUROFISH International Organisation since May 2003. Formerly in the Danish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, he was accredited as special representative to a number of countries in Central and Eastern Europe and was minister counsellor at the Danish embassy in Moscow in the mid-nineties. Before joining EUROFISH he was senior adviser for international relations and EU policies in the Fisheries Department and he was part of the team negotiating the reform of the EU Common Fisheries Policy adopted under the Danish Presidency in 2002.

Mr. Behnan Thomas joined the publications unit of the FAO EASTFISH Project, the precursor to the EUROFISH International Organisation, in 1998 becoming assistant editor of the Eurofish Magazine in 2000 and editor in 2002. In addition to his responsibilities towards the Magazine Behnan plays a key role in defining and achieving EUROFISH goals in the areas of publications, information dissemination, website content management and IT. Before moving to Denmark he worked as a coordinating translator in a private German company offering supervision and language-related services.

Webmaster of SEAFOODplus is Alwin Kruijt B.Sc.. Working as a research assistant in the environmental laboratory of the Institute for Marine Resources & Ecosystem Studies (Wageningen IMARES) he also designed several websites connected to the institute. Mostly in conjunction with EU funded projects like  DIAC and DIFFERENCE,  FQLM and SEAFOODplus, but also for the  WEFTA (West European Fish Technologists Association),  Tastenet and  QIM-Eurofish. He has extensive knowledge of HTML and the Content Management system  TYPO3.
